The client stands as one of Japan's premier fashion e-commerce destinations. It is one of the most preferred clothing and accessory brand used by many fashionistas and users of all age. They provide many interesting and value-for-money offers and have special privilege's for their premium users. The client already holds an ecommerce website when they approached us. However, they were facing certain issues with the site in terms of performance, cart abandonment, page loading times and server’s capability of session handling. They needed a compete revamp of their ecommerce store to keep up with the demands of their clientele and provide them with a better customer experience.
Project Details
Upon early rounds of inspection and analysing their existing website, our team realised the main bottleneck towards their lagged performance. Their website was running on a monolithic framework with barely any optimizations made towards gearing the needs of modern ecommerce websites. Hence, we decided to completely revamp their website by developing it from scratch using a microservices architecture approach. The primary focus for client were -
